The cost of a wedding cake is based on the price per serving multiplied by the total number of servings. A number of factors go into establishing the price per serving, including the type of cake, the type of frosting, and the amount of decorating time required. Please keep in mind that each cake is a one of a kind creation, and decorated completely by hand.

Number of Servings:
Soft Peaks Cakery serving size is 2 x 2 by 41/2 inches tall. The amount of cake that you will need should be based upon the number of people in attendance, the time of day of the reception, and the amount of other food being served.
Delivery and Set-up:
There is a $65 delivery & set up fee required for most wedding cakes. Some cakes can be picked up however, this is discussed at the consultation.

Special flavors, fillings, or gumpaste flower arrangements. Gluten Free versions available, note that our facility is not totally Gluten Free. These items may cost more.
What ever flavor combination you choose, there is no extra charge for fillings or different shapes or flavors in each tier of your cake. If you have a special flavor you are looking for and it isn't on the list, just ask, I would be glad to try to accomodate you. Rolled Fondant covered cakes at no additional charge. I offer a variety of specialty cake flavors such as the Almond-Poppyseed filled with Oregon Marionberries, this is the most requested combination.

If you long for the elegant look of rolled fondant for your wedding cake or grooms cake, but have heard nasty rumors about its taste and texture, don't despair. Not all fondants are created equal, the kind I offer tastes quite good. It is applied over fresh buttercream, and can be used with any of the cake flavors offered.
Gum Paste Flowers
They provide an exquisite and delicate look; yet can be removed from the cake prior to serving and preserved for years to come. There is an additional cost for these flowers.
Fresh flowers make a lovely addition to your wedding cake and are frequently used to decorate the cake. Please consult with your florist to ensure that the flowers to be used on the cake are organically grown, non-toxic, and free from pesticides. Purchasing the flowers is the responsibility of the bride; however, I will be happy to coordinate with your florist about placing them on the cake.
Cake Top Ornaments
The cost of this ornament is not included in the price of the cake.
There are a number of cake stands and options available. There is a rental fee, just ask at the consultation.
